Melissa Braun is a passionate voice teacher, music educator and community builder.
As a voice teacher, Melissa aims to help each student develop the skills and techniques they need to express freely in a range of styles. She loves exploring tools that allow students to communicate narrative, character, and emotion and delights in the moment when students feel they have truly conveyed meaning through their music.
Linda Hayes
Pianist, Dancer and Choreographer, Linda Hayes has been teaching and performing for 30 years. She is a graduate of the University of Toronto with an Associate Diploma in Piano and Music Theory. Her teachers are Ellen Silverman and Robert Rogers. In Jazz piano, she studied with Robert Doyle for 10 years.
Amber Dayton
Educator, pianist, vocalist, and chamber artist, Amber’s versatility brings a fresh approach to all things music. Amber’s primary objective as a music teacher is to not only build strong foundations for life-long musicking, but to foster students’ self-expression through exploration of various genres along with open discussions about the creative spirit.
Dan Parry
Dan Parry is a motivating drum and hand percussion instructor, music production educator, and group counsellor. Bringing a wealth of experience and knowledge to his private music students, he inspires them to become versatile and dynamic players. As a therapist, whether working with individual clients or in a group setting, his primary objectives are to motivate and improve his clients’ emotional and mental well-being through his “Rhythm to Recovery” program.
Devin Wong
Meet Devin Wong, a 27 year old music therapist with a deep passion for helping individuals through the healing power of music. He earned his Bachelors of Music Therapy (BMT) from Capilano University, where he focused on jazz and music therapy. Devin has honed his skills over the years, with 10 years of experience playing the guitar and 6 years of experience in music programming, music recording and music making.
Ellen Gira
From the East Coast of the USA, Ellen Gira is establishing herself as one of the most versatile cellists in the Scottish and American Traditional music scenes. Currently based in Glasgow, she has performed throughout North America and the UK, collaborated and recorded with numerous acclaimed traditional musicians, and has completed doctoral studies in Trad Cello Pedagogy at the Royal Conservatoire of Scotland.
Jack Plant
Jocelyn Pettit
Based in Squamish, Jocelyn Pettit is a vibrant fiddle player, stepdancer, singer, and educator. With uplifting energy and engaging stage presence, Jocelyn integrates the Celtic and folk traditions of her roots into her music.
Kayla Mak
Kayla has been studying voice since she was 7; she loved to sing art songs and opera from a young age and had completed her RCM Grade 9 exam at age 17. Kayla attended Douglas College where she earned a certificate in voice performance. She then went on to UBC and received a Bachelor of Arts with a Major in Music.
Sabrina Perry
Sabrina Perry brings her classical training, fiery fiddle playing, and deep sensitivity to her dynamic and passionate performances and teaching.
Saša Malek
Saša is a classical pianist and a dedicated piano teacher.
She graduated from the University of Ljubljana, Academy of Music, with a Bachelor of Music in Piano Performance, studying under the world-renowned concert pianist Dubravka Tomšič Srebotnjak. Saša has been performing since early childhood, participating in various concerts and music competitions across Europe as both a soloist and a chamber musician. In 2021, she relocated to Squamish, where she has been living and teaching ever since.
Scott Verbeek
Since graduating Summa Cum Laude from Berklee College of Music in 2013, Scott has become an in-demand guitarist and guitar teacher in the Vancouver music scene. He has played well over 500 performances since 2013 and has toured extensively across Canada, the United States, and Mexico. Scott began his music teaching career at age 16 through the support of his guitar teacher.

Elliott Nicholson
Elliott Nicholson is a guitarist, singer/songwriter, and multi-instrumentalist born and raised in Sault Ste. Marie, Ontario. He began his involvement with music at the age of 8 playing guitar and singing after being taught a handful of basic guitar chords by his grandfather. He has since expanded his instrumental repertoire to include bass (electric and double), banjo, mandolin, and ukulele, among others.
Lyndon Ladeur
In life, sometimes practicality interrupts your path to destiny. Tenor Lyndon Ladeur’s dream of becoming a performer took a detour through the University of Waterloo’s mathematics program before Opera took its place within his heart.
